Looking for an outdoor wedding location or family event? Our lawn can accommodate approximately 100 people (and a bit over) quite comfortably. The best times for weddings at our place are mid-July to September/early Oct. There are unique photo sites on location. We can connect you to tent and catering resources in the area - you do the planning, we provide the location. Parking is in the field and guests make a very short walk to the big lawn. Swimming in the river is available. The cabin can easily be a honeymoon suite, too! Fresh spring water can be easily pumped right next to the cabin but there is no running water (ie- no sink, no bathroom). Portable toilets can be brought in and don't forget the Privvy.

A good ole fashioned country picnic - catered or potluck would provide a wonderfully relaxed experience. David is a Unitarian minister and can work with you to create a meaningful ceremony. There is no electricity, however, if needed, a generator could be provided for an additional cost.

For a family gathering, we do have possibilities for additional sleeping space. The cabin can accomodate a cot bed. Tents can be pitched on the lawn. The sauna will hold 2 people comfortably in sleeping bags/mats. As long as our road is dry, a camper could set up on the property (there would be no water hookup/drainage/sewage disposal.
